AEQ-KROMA PRESENTS NEW PRODUCTS AT NAB 2015
THE COMPANY CONTINUES EXPANDING ITS FAMILY OF IP PRODUCTS FOR BROADCASTING. MARCH 2015 AEQ confirms its commitment to the World broadcast market with its presence at what is, without any doubt, the reference tradeshow for broadcast professionals. Again, AEQ will be located in Central Hall that is dedicated to technologies for Radio and Television Broadcasting and Audio. At Booth C3747, AEQ will be showing for the following novelties and technology updates: |

The new CrossNET. Compact intercom matrix with AoIP multi-channel connectivity This high-performance digital intercom matrix provides broadcast-quality audio. Depending on the version, it can incorporate up to 168 x 168 ports. 128 of them can be AoIP featuring DANTE™ technology, compatible with AES67 standard, which can easily be connected using existing Ethernet networks through conventional hubs and switches, and offering optional redundancy. The new, full bandwidth capable Series 8000 user panels are of course the ideal companion for the CrossNET, but the system also has 12 analog ports, 8 digital ports, and 20 AoIP ports with KROMA Standard low bit-rate, enabling the connection of wireless intercoms, ancillary equipment and KROMA series 3000, 4000 and 5000 panels. It also includes a local port for headset and a speaker. |

NEW AEQ re-invents the concept of portable IP audiocodecs to make it easy to use in the most varied scenarios, although it has been specifically designed for sports commentary/reporting. It can connect to other equipment from most manufacturers using SIP communications protocol, according to N/ACIP standard by EBU. But when it is connected to another AEQ unit, the user can benefit from a set of exclusive tools that help controlling the unit and setting up communications. For example, the intelligent call-initiation system “Smart RTP” helps connecting and negotiates the encoding to be used without having to accomplish this at both ends of the communication and without additional protocols or ports. This is a great tool for the inexperienced reporter. Further, the unit can be managed from the AEQ ControlPhoenix control software. |
