Aragon Radio selects AEQ FORUM IP digital console to cover Pilar Day in Zaragoza

Aragón Radio, the Autonomous Radio of Aragón, began its regular broadcasts in October 2005 with the aim of providing a public service marked by proximity, plurality, informative rigour and quality. Its programming consists of an overview of current affairs in Spain and the world, sports and entertainment programmes.

height=The company's technical management decided to implement the AEQ FORUM LITE digital console with 12 faders for their outdoor broadcasts. Recently, they have covered the Día del Pilar, celebrated in Zaragoza last weekend. For its ease of use, robustness of operation, and high audio quality. AEQ FORUM IP is a mixing console designed for ONAIR broadcast control. It incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment: automatic monitor cut, cough cut, faderstart, signalling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, external communications management, intercommunication, etc.

With its modular design and small size, AEQ FORUM adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-control, control-locutory, TV production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc. Simplicity and control power are combined in the AEQ FORUM IP console to cover both basic and advanced operation needs. The FORUM IP SPLIT version comes with the FR CORE modular engine in 3 rack units. It can be composed of up to 6 quad fader modules and a control and monitoring unit.

In addition, the project has been complemented by a Netbox 4MH interface that has been designed with the need for radio and stage studios, as well as multimedia spaces and TV sets to have high quality microphone inputs and headphone outputs via an IP network over Dante protocol.

The whole project has been led by the technical manager of Aragón Radio, Mr Juan Rocha, and on behalf of AEQ, Ms Guadalupe López in its commercial management and Mr Raúl Moreta in all its technical and configuration management.
