CAXIAS DO SUL UNIVERSITY EQUIPS ITS STUDIOS WITH AEQ FORUM AND MERCURY 28/06/2017

Caxias do Sul (UCS) University is a high school based in the north-west of Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil. It has several offices located in the cities of Caxias do Sul, Bento Gonçalves, Vacaria, Canela, Farrupilha, Guaporé, Nova Prata and São Sebastião do Caí.

This University has educational TV and FM stations installed in Caxias do Sul, Bento Gonçalves and Vacaria: its main target is to make the University closer to the society.

All 3 radio stations, Caxias do Sul, Bento Gonçalves and Vacaria are connected together via an IP network using AEQ Mercury IP audiocodecs. The signal from Caxias do Sul is distributed using multiple unicast to Bento Gonçalves and Vacaria while, at the same time, contribution is received from one of these locations.

The studios are equipped with AEQ Forum digital audio mixing consoles. The project and its installation has been carried out by Biquad company.
