Large deployment of an AEQ Intercom System at Channel One TV in Ghana 12/06/2024
The TV studio has relied on the TP8000 user panels and XPLORER to carry out its audiovisual projects.
The integration of a complete Intercom system was recently completed at the Citi TV studios, now rebranded as Channel One TV in Tesano, Ghana. With this new change, they are reaffirming their commitment to broadcasting quality content of all types of programming but bringing a new perspective and scope to the broadcast.
This project has been realised in the main control room and production room; in addition to 2 separate studios. The organisation has relied on TP8116 user panels, 1UR user panels with 16 programmable keys on 4 different pages and TP8416 panels, with 16 programmable keys on 4 different pages. They have individual volume control for each communication point. ECO canceller and integrated DSP. Dual AoIP Dante/AES67 ports, one VoIP port, one Digital port and one Analogue port. The information is presented on a graphic display, with the possibility of up to two lines of text per key, a third line indicating the audio level at the crossover point.
For technical staff on the move, the XPLORER wireless beltpack has been integrated. Thanks to its long battery life of up to 20 hours, it allows you to chain recordings with live performances without having to recharge the battery.
Bahamus Limited (an integrator with more than 20 years of experience located in Ghana), has carried out the integration of the entire project in collaboration with AEQ.
AEQ Intercom systems enter a world of possibilities with the ability to make configurations, cross points, send and receive Dante signals from both mixers and other equipment within the system.
