One of the fastest growing brands in the radio space, 94.3 MY FM is the radio business of D.B MEDIA Corp Ltd. 94.3 MY FM took a bottom-up approach and started functioning from the Tier II & III cities of the country where the Bhaskar Group already had a stronghold. It set up its first station in Jaipur in the year 2006 and slowly expanded to capture the hearts of the masses to 17 cities, spread across the 7 states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. 94.3 MyFM's target audience is mostly youth and it makes sure that it connects with them by reflecting the target audience's personality, lifestyle and attitude.
Coinciding with the near launch of several new private radio stations in India during their coming soon Phase3 of FM's licenses expansion, the technical direction of the company has decided to renew their central facilities in New Delhi that today are mostly analogical, moving one complete radio studio to digital over new AEQ FORUM compact digital audio mixer with 12faders control surface configuration.
AEQ FORUM is a mixer designed for broadcast On-Air control. It incorporates all the features required in such environment: automatic monitor mute, remote mute, faderstart, signalling, control signals for external equipment automation, management of external communications using built-in digital telephone hybrid modules, intercom, etc… With a modular design and small footprint it fits perfectly in different scenarios: self-control, control-studio, production controls for television, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large systems, etc… Simplicity and control power are combined in the AEQ FORUM to cover both the basic and advanced operational requirements, starting with a control surface of 4 faders, it can be easily extended to 8, 12, 16 or 20 independent audio channels in fader for GRAND FORUM configuration.
Complete project has been coordinated by MyFM Technical Manager Mr. Sanjay Pratap Singh that even travelled to Madrid for training sessions, who in collaboration with engineering team of Falcon Technologies (local partner of AEQ in India) and AEQ-Madrid Technical Support Service, led the tasks of installation, configuration and start-up of these 100% digital radio studio.
