COMPACT AEQ DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY EQUIPS NEW RADIO STUDIO FOR INTERNET BROADCASTING

Radio City FM is a private radio station with presence in the two most important cities of Turkey: Istanbul and Ankara covering almost 18 millions of potential listeners, as well as a strong compromise with the latest Internet broadcasting technology, aiming to reach the general audience in Turkish language and with a strong presence of the modern national and international music and telephonic participation of the listeners.

Radio City (99,3 FM) for its headquarters in Ankara has trusted in AEQ technology to transform into digital one of the radio studios, using the new digital compact console AEQ FORUM.

AEQ FORUM has been chosen both by its technology and operation simplicity and by its self-content design of very fast and easy installation.

The chosen configuration consists of 12 faders control surface, 6 microphone inputs, 8 analogue I/O, 8 digital I/O and two digital built-in telephone hybrids, allowing AEQ FORUM mixer to satisfy ease of operation from the most basic to the most advanced Radio City requirements. 

AEQ FORUM is a self-contained, compact digital mixing console, which means that its two functional blocks are housed in the same physical chassis. On one hand the control surface, where the controls and status indicators are located and on the other, the "audio engine" which contains all electronics for audio inputs and outputs as well as routing blocks, summing and processing.

Complete project has been managed and executed by the technical equipment of local partner of AEQ in Turkey IDEAPRO led by their General Manager Mr. Ihsan Atak in coordination with AEQ's technical services in Madrid that without need of travelling to installation could remotely supervise and modify the configuration through Internet, that is a big innovation in this kind of high-level technologic projects.
