AEQ is exhibiting at IBC 2026, the international broadcasting and technology trade show taking place Sept 11–14 at RAI Amsterdam. At booth 8C55, the company is showcasing FORUM IP PLUS.
AEQ has expanded its range of professional broadcast solutions with the introduction of FORUM IP PLUS, a new digital audio console designed for radio and multimedia production environments that demand flexible workflows, advanced IP connectivity and reliable 24/7 operation.
Building on the proven FORUM platform, FORUM IP PLUS combines an intuitive user experience with a highly modular architecture that adapts to installations of any size, from self-operated radio studios to complex multi-studio broadcast facilities. Its 3RU FR_CORE engine supports up to six four-fader modules, allowing configurations of up to 24 motorized faders and management of as many as 180 audio channels while maintaining a compact footprint.
Designed around AoIP technology, FORUM IP PLUS integrates seamlessly into modern broadcast infrastructures through Dante/AES67 networking, with optional MADI connectivity for facilities requiring additional multichannel interfaces. The console incorporates up to 32 mono sum buses, 10 configurable N-1 buses, comprehensive routing capabilities and extensive GPIO integration for automation and external equipment control.
The control surface has been developed to streamline live production, providing direct access to essential functions while placing advanced configuration tools on a high-resolution 7-inch multitouch display. Channel processing, routing, EQ, dynamics and monitoring can be managed quickly and intuitively, while configurable memories allow operators to instantly recall complete console setups for different programmes or production formats.
FORUM IP PLUS also offers a Virtual FORUM option, extending the control surface to a Windows PC or tablet for remote or parallel operation. This enables broadcasters to access the full functionality of the console—including fader control, routing, processing, monitoring and preset management—from virtually anywhere on the network.
With its scalable architecture, comprehensive connectivity and operational flexibility, FORUM IP PLUS provides broadcasters with a future-ready mixing platform capable of meeting the evolving demands of contemporary radio and broadcast production.
Broadcasting and communications professionals will be able to view live demonstrations of FORUM IP PLUS, along with AEQ’s suite of solutions, at booth 8.C55 at Broadcast Asia 2026, Sept 11–14 at RAI Amsterdam. The AEQ team will be on hand to present practical use cases and provide guidance on implementing these platforms in broadcasting, television, and enterprise communications projects.
