AEQ is exhibiting at CABSAT 2026, the international broadcasting and technology trade show taking place October 5-7 at Dubai Exhibition Centre. At booth H1-D55, S19, the company is showcasing CAPITOL IP PLUS, the compact digital console for radio and television, alongside Xpeak, its IP-based intercom system, and Xplorer MAX, a wireless intercom terminal designed for reliable and flexible communications.

CAPITOL IP PLUS: High performance in an ultra-compact design
CAPITOL IP PLUS is AEQ’s compact digital console designed for radio and television broadcasting, offering a practical and versatile solution specifically engineered for live control that adapts to a variety of workflows and operational environments.
Built on an ergonomic 10-fader surface with an integrated touchscreen, the console features advanced audio processing with a 4-band parametric equalizer, filters, and dynamics. It features up to 32 summing buses for program, auxiliary, monitoring, and clean feeds, while its local IP connectivity and Dante/AES67 capabilities position it as a modern and scalable solution.
Additionally, CAPITOL IP PLUS offers the Virtual Capitol option for remote operation from a PC, Bluetooth connectivity for communications management, and all the features required for broadcast operations: on-air signaling, cough suppressor, fader start, talkback, and automation of external equipment.
Xpeak: Flexible IP-based intercom for modern production environments
Xpeak is AEQ’s distributed intercom system based on Audio over IP technology, designed to simplify communication and coordination in TV production and other professional environments. Its matrix-less architecture allows hardware and software panels to operate as part of the same virtual network, whether they are located within the same production centre or distributed across different locations using Internet or WAN connections.
Designed as a plug-and-play solution, Xpeak automatically detects connected devices, making it easy to deploy and configure both local and distributed intercom systems. The system supports up to 28 devices and offers multiple operating modes, including virtual matrix and 4-channel Party Line, while also allowing integration with existing AEQ intercom systems such as ConeXia and CrossNET. Its range of user panels, beltpacks and interfaces provides a flexible solution that can adapt to different production and communication requirements.
Xplorer MAX: Reliable wireless communication with maximum flexibility
Xplorer MAX is AEQ’s wireless intercom beltpack, combining high-performance 5 GHz digital radio technology with the functionality required for professional production environments. Designed to provide reliable communication and freedom of movement, it incorporates interference control, dynamic frequency switching, carrier aggregation and Quality of Service with voice prioritisation.
The beltpack can operate with AEQ intercom matrices such as Conexia, CrossNET and TH5000, while also integrating with Xpeak matrix-less systems or operating as a terminal within the Easynet Party-Line system. With up to four shortcut keys across configurable pages, two additional programmable keys and a multifunction display, Xplorer MAX provides flexible access to communication functions. Its radio system supports up to 50 users per base station and a range of up to 600 metres in open field, while its IP67 rating makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
