AEQ EQUIPMENTS IN THE STUDIOS OF THE CULTURAL RADIO OF TOQUEPALA RENEWAL 05/04/2016
Toquepala Cultural Association is a nonprofit organization running the Cultural Radio of Toquepala. The Radio station was inaugurated in 1964, its main purpose being the dissemination of the regional cultures of southern Peru.
Currently the station transmits its signal on three frequencies of the FM band: 89.9 MHz providing coverage for Toquepala's mining camp in the Tacna region, 95.9 MHz for Cuajone's mining camp and 101.1 MHz at Puerto LLo, both in the region of Moquegua.
Recently, the company INTELECT was awarded the contract to renew the Studios of the Cultural Radio of Toquepala.
The broadcast engineers, technicians and professionals of Toquepala Cultural Radio are always demanding high quality audio. After having analysed and assessed the technical aspects, they took the decision of renew the radio studios with AEQ equipment.
This project of modernization has included the following products and systems: a digital mixing console AEQ Forum, two radio automation systems AEQ AudioPlus with associated computers and Digigram sound cards and the AEQ Phoenix Mobile IP audiocodec. With the acquisition of this equipment, Toquepala Cultural Radio are benefitting from a leap forward in terms of Audio quality, reliability, efficiency and above all, improved operability through “ease of use”.
INTELECT was the active consultant and advisor, supplier and eventually also undertook the installation, commissioning start-up and training of the equipment and systems. The users of Toquepala Cultural Radio are more than satisfied by the reliability of the equipment and the local technical support.
