NATIONAL CHANNELS OF RADIO TUNNISIENE MANAGED BY AEQ BC-2000 D ROUTER 30/08/2011
Founded in 1938 the Radio Tunisienne (RT) is a part of the Department of Communications of Tunis Government and produces four national channels of radio as national broadcaster employing approximately 1200 technicians and journalists.
RT has been traditionally one satisfied client AEQ communications equipments like portable devices as MPAC-02 and ISDN rackmounted codecs as AEQ EAGLE, until now coinciding with the change of century and an important reform of his facilities migrated its equipment to digital technology using central core router AEQ BC-2000 D.
This central audio core in RT central headquarters manages the whole audio of the four most important national channels, so AEQ has taken care to the maximum of the safety aspect and redundancy in the supplied and installed system.
RT router AEQ BC-2000 D model has 9 chassis interconnected by redundant MADI optical fiber links, including in system key points up to 20 working DSP in processing simultaneously and guaranteed backup before failures.
Project supply is completed by the installation of a system of automation AEQ MAR4SUITE PRO model, working as complement and support of the central router.
The totality of the project has been managed by the Technical Director of RT Mr. Rochdi Nouira in collaboration with the AEQ Tech Services moved to Tunis capital during all the phases of the project.
