AEQ CONSOLIDATES IN THE COMPETITIVE MARKET FOR DIGITAL RADIO BANGLADESH

Earlier this year 2012, the radio station Dhaka 90.4MHz FM began broadcasting, becoming the first digital radio station in Bangladesh. The new station is part of the first group of granted licenses pertaining to “Phase II” of the Government RF licensing process that is currently underway throughout the country and as part of an ambitious program to modernize the country's telecommunication infrastructure. Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh and one of the major cities of South Asia, holding a potential audience of more than 11 million.

FM Dhaka inaugurated its new installations with the AEQ FORUM 12 fader digital console as the heart of the main studio.

AEQ FORUM is a mixer designed for broadcast On-Air control. It incorporates all the features required in such environment: automatic monitor mute, remote mute, fader-start, signalling, control signals for external equipment automation, management of external communications, intercom, etc..

With a modular design and small footprint it fits perfectly in different scenarios: self-control, control-studio, production controls for television, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large systems, etc..

Simplicity and control power are combined in the AEQ FORUM to cover both the basic and advanced operational requirements, starting with a control surface of 4 faders, it  can be easily extended to 8 and 12 independent channels.

The ease of installation and operations together with a foreseeable cost-of-ownership determined RADIO DHAKA 90.4MHz FM´s choice of the AEQ FORM compact digital console, in essence perfect for the Bangladesh market.
