One of these activities was the creation of a radio station managed by volunteers in 2011 under the commercial brand of Radio Bikrampur with 100% social contents. According their minimum budget and the characteristics of the operators (most of them without any technical specific training but with YES a great passion for the radio) the board of directors of EC-Bangladesh have been trying to equip gradually Radio Bikrampur with the latest technology on the market, always very robust and simplest operation adapted to their minimal budget, and obviously in the moment to choose the material for the reporters EC has selected AEQ L300 handheld digital recorders.
AEQ L300 is the third generation of digital portable recorders developed by AEQ for this competitive market’s segment. In 2005 AEQ release multi-awarded AEQ DR100, followed in 2008 with AEQ PAW-120 family, and in 2011 this new AEQ L300.
AEQ L300 offers in minimal size full professional broadcast features with a modern design 100% digital, supporting more than 8hrs of continuous operation over 2xAA common batteries and with the possibility of easily increase internal memory using SD cards slot includes in the unit by default.

Complete project has been lead by the radio station director Mr Arif Sikder, in collaboration with CTO of OSL-Broadcast local partner of AEQ in Bangladesh.
Today AEQ has a strong presence in the country with installations in Dhaka FM, Radio Bhumi, ColoursFM, Radio Next, Radio Edge and Radio Bikrampur.
