AEQ CONTINUES ITS PRESENCE AT THE WORLDS LARGEST SPORTING EVENTS IN VANCOUVER

AEQ has equipment and qualified experienced personnel for the handling of world-wide sports, political and social events, having participated for more than 10 years in all Olympics Games, and in Soccer, Swimming, and Skiing, World Championships.

AEQ portfolio includes Commentary Systems, Fixed and Portable Audiocodecs, Multiplexers, and Audio Matrix that offer the switching and intercommunication capabilities at main events.

It is well known in the broadcast industry that AEQ has been, and continues being, a major equipment supplier at large Sport Events. Once again, AEQ played a significant role as the supplier of commentator audio equipment at this year’s biggest Winter Sports Event in Vancouver.

EBU being one of the major rights holding broadcaster unions took delivery of additional modules for its BC 2000 D Router Matrix that is used for their 4W commentary circuits. Equipment upgrade included among other things the implementation of the capacity to receive the commentary signals from the New Commentary System used in Vancouver. Additionally, all the EBU broadcasters and other major rights holding organisations were using AEQ’s Commentary Console at the different Competition Venues.
