B.A.G. FILMS INDIA TRUST AEQ SYSTEL 6000 TECHNOLOGY FOR ITS COMMUNICATIONS
CENTRALIZED MANAGEMENT OF ALL THE COMMUNICATIONS OF THE NEW DELHI B.A.G. STUDIOS
B.A.G. Films & Media Ltd. is an Indian corporation with offices in New Delhi, Bombay and Chennai, and a wide influence inside the national mass media with investments in radio, television and the cinematographic industry.
The technical team of B.A.G. Films & Media Ltd. led by the chief engineer and technical vice-president of the company Mr. Suraj Pal has selected the AEQ SYSTEL 6000 multiconference system to manage all the incoming or outgoing communications realized on telephonic lines inside four studios in its facilities in New Delhi Media City.
From these facilities in New Delhi the B.A.G. group produces two independent hindi language national TV channels: BAG E-24 (movies and TV series) and News-24 (24 hours news), being in the second one of them where Systel 6000 is used principally.
AEQ SYSTEL6000 system supplied consists of a multichannel encoding unit AEQ COURSE model with possibility of up to 10 independent communication boards (hybrid, ISDN or IP) for the part of communications, and a digital AES/EBU format router AEQ IMPACT model for the routing part of audio and automatic creation of the multiplex N-1 necessary groups.
Centralized management of all this equipments is executed in a transparent way for the final user by Systel intuitive and friendly software control, installed in a PC of the room of control.
The installation and start-up of the system, was realized originally by the technical team of B.A.G. with the supervision of AEQ's personnel, and the final coordination by the technical team of Falcon Technologies (official reseller of AEQ in India) led by the managers Mr. Baidyanath Ranha and Mr. Praveen Rana.
